Aadhaar update in Noida — address, Baal Aadhaar & centres

Moved flats? Your Aadhaar address is the one update almost every renter postpones — and then needs urgently for a bank, SIM or passport. Good news: for most people it's a 15-minute online job for ₹50. Here's the full map of what you can do yourself, what needs a centre, and where the centres are.

What you can update yourself, online

At myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in — log in with Aadhaar number + OTP on your registered mobile (no registered mobile = no online anything; fix that first at a centre):

• Address — ₹50, upload one valid proof (see the renter section below).
• Name (twice in a lifetime), date of birth (once), gender (once), language — ₹50 each.
• Document update (re-uploading your ID/address proof to keep records current) — free online till 14 June 2027 under the current UIDAI window.

After approval, download the updated e-Aadhaar PDF free — it's as valid as the physical card everywhere.

What needs an Aadhaar centre

• Photo, fingerprints, iris — any biometric capture needs the machine.
• Mobile number / email — adding or changing (this is the trap: the thing you need for online updates is itself offline-only).
• New enrolments — including every new-born.
• Fees at centres: demographic update ≈ ₹75, biometric update ≈ ₹125; first enrolment and mandatory child biometric updates (in-window) are free.

Address proof for renters — the practical reality

• A registered rent agreement is accepted. The standard 11-month notarised one is often not — don't rely on it.
• Easiest renter documents: bank statement/passbook with the new address (update your bank branch first — banks accept more documents), electricity/water bill in your name, or gas connection bill.
• HOF (Head of Family) route — no document in your name at all: the flat owner or your family head consents with their Aadhaar + a consent/relationship document, and your address updates to theirs. ₹50, online. Made for renters and spouses.

New-born ka Aadhaar — Baal Aadhaar

• Under-5s get the blue Baal Aadhaar — no biometrics taken, so it's quick.
• Documents: child's birth certificate (or hospital discharge slip) + one parent's Aadhaar. Enrolment is free, at any centre — many hospitals in Noida also run enrolment desks in the maternity ward.
• Calendar reminders that matter: mandatory biometric update at age 5 and again at 15 — free if done within the 5–7 and 15–17 windows, chargeable after.

Aadhaar centres in Noida, Greater Noida & GN West

• Noida: centres cluster in Sector 18 (around the market/metro), Sector 27 (Atta), Sector 35, Sector 63 and Sector 122 — a mix of UIDAI Seva Kendras, bank branches (SBI/HDFC/ICICI/Axis run desks) and head post offices.
• Greater Noida: Alpha/Gamma commercial belt and Knowledge Park side; GN West: CSC/bank desks around Gaur City and Ek Murti.
• Exact desks open and close often — always confirm on the official locator: appointments.uidai.gov.in → "Locate an Enrolment Centre" (or the Bhuvan Aadhaar map). Book an appointment there too; walk-in queues at Sector 18 on weekends are brutal.
• Carry originals + photocopies; originals are scanned and returned.
