How does the rent check work?
Pick your locality, BHK and monthly rent — we compare it against real, anonymous rent pins nearby (duplicates removed, same visibility rules as the rest of the map) and show what share of comparable renters pay less than you.
Is my rent or address saved when I check?
No. The check runs on the numbers you enter and existing anonymous pins — nothing you type here is stored. Only pinning your rent on the map (a separate, optional step) adds a data point.
What if there aren't enough rents in my exact locality?
We need at least 3 comparable rents to give a real answer. If your locality is too thin, we widen the comparison to the whole region (Noida, Greater Noida, or GN West) and say so on the result.
What counts as "overpaying"?
We flag rent above the local 75th percentile as "above" the usual range, and more than 20% above that as "way above" — likely overpaying. Below the 25th percentile reads as a good deal.
