Commercial electricity rate per unit in Noida & Greater Noida (2026)

Updated July 2026 · FY 2026-27 tariff per the UPERC order dated 22 Nov 2025. Rates change with annual regulator orders — sources at the bottom.

Short answer: a shop, office or other non-domestic connection in Gautam Buddh Nagar — Noida, Greater Noida or GN West — bills on the LMV-2 schedule at roughly ₹6.70 to ₹8.75 per unit, with a higher fixed charge per kW than a home connection. Large 11 kV bulk connections (malls, commercial towers) pay around ₹8.32 per kVAh. Indicative bands:

Commercial connection (LMV-2)Rate per unit
Small non-domestic (low load)≈ ₹6.70
Higher load / consumptionup to ≈ ₹8.75
11 kV bulk (mall / tower)≈ ₹8.32 per kVAh

These are indicative — your exact rate depends on sanctioned load and the current schedule. For a home connection instead, see the domestic electricity rate per unit (₹5.50–₹7.00).

Commercial vs domestic — why the category matters

A commercial meter runs roughly 30–40% more per unit than domestic, plus a steeper fixed charge. Two practical traps:

NPCL vs UPPCL for commercial

Both follow the same UPERC LMV-2 structure, so the per-unit band is broadly the same across UPPCL (Noida) and NPCL(Greater Noida & GN West). For the NPCL domestic picture and the society prepaid-meter reality, see NPCL per unit rate in Greater Noida.
